| Youth volunteers (aged 14-20) make up our Zoo TEAM program. This program is specifically for youths interested in careers in animal-related areas. New applicants are accepted into the program during September. A completed "Zoo TEAM" application, 2 recommendation letters and the parental consent form must be received by September 1st . Membership is awarded based on interest, attitude, and recommendation. All Zoo TEAM members are required to make a one-year commitment and to volunteer at least 5 hours per month. Volunteer opportunities are scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays and members are expected to participate in our summer camp program as helping hands. A $25.00 membership fee is required to pay for training materials and uniforms. |
