SUBMIT PICTURES OF: Birds, mammals, reptiles & amphibians, insects & spiders,
landscapes, rock formations, plant life, backyard habitat, people enjoying
nature, environmental hotspots, art in nature, sunrise/sunset.
RULES: Enter five pictures taken in Bexar County or one of its seven
surrounding counties (Kendall, Comal, Guadalupe, Wilson, Atascosa, Medina and
Bandera). Each image must be of a different subject. No restrained or pet animal
photos. No prints. One $10 entry fee, whether you enter one competition or both.
SLIDE COMPETITION: five 35-mm color slides in protective plastic sheets.
DIGITAL COMPETITION: five images in JPEG format.
CASH PRIZES:
$300 for 1st place in Slide Competition
$300 for 1st place in Digital Competition
Winners in six runner-up categories also receive cash prizes.
Age of contestants: 18 and under Deadline for entries: April 24, 2006
