June 16, July 21, August 11 (Choose one); ages 4 to 7
Three-hour session on how to be kind to animals for kids ages 4 to 7. Kids learn how to avoid dog bites, how to approach and properly pet animals, and how to act around them. Kids learn on stuffed animals before graduating to real live pets in the shelter. Interaction with pets will be limited to cats and kittens and puppies (no large or older dogs).
Cost is $10 per family. Parents must attend with children. |
