The first goal of this gathering is to provide a forum for
Homeschool co-op and support groups to exchange information about our
organizations and share ideas of how we might better serve our homeschooling
families. We know that we, as a co-op, have the desire to meet the needs of our
members, and we would like to be able to serve as a resource of information for
these needs. In an effort to do this, we would like to have a communication
network of as many leaders in our surrounding area as possible, to share
thoughts and ideas, to better serve the homeschooling community. We welcome you
to attend and see what we can all bring to this kind of networking group.
Our next goal is to host a Co-op and Support Group Fair on
Wednesday, June 30, from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon (tentative). We would like this
to be an opportunity for all support groups and co-ops to be able to promote
their group and make available to homeschoolers information about each group. We
will have tables available for each group to use for displays, etc. We would
like this to be the first of many Co-op and Support Group Fairs.
