Event: Youth Poetry Slam

April is National Poetry Month. The Guardian Angel Performance Arts Academy is hosting a Youth Poetry Slam for ages 4-17 on April 10, 2009 at the Jumpstart Performance Theatre in the Blue Star Arts Complex from 7pm-9pm. Enter each slam for $10.00. Entry deadline is April 3, 2009. Write it, Rhyme it, Speak it!(Poetry... thoughts that beathe...words that burn)RAP is a form of poetry.
