High School Transcripts for Homeschoolers

As a homeschooling parent, you are responsible for creating a transcript. There is no such thing as a standard transcript form even among school districts. Generally, the more competitive the college, the more detailed the transcript. Often, homeschoolers will prepare a one page traditional transcript and accompanied it will a multi-page description of the individual classes. The class description will include text books uses, types of assignments, and if it was taught by someone else.

Furthermore, do-it-your-self transcripts have gotten homeschoolers into all the Ivies, Stanford, U of Chicago, CalTech, MIT, the Military Academies, and just about any other college you can think of. Commercial products are not necessary but they can be convenient and helpful in organizing.
