Area families interested in hosting international high school students during the 2004/2005 academic school year are currently being interviewed by local community coordinator, Amber Ortega-
Perez representing PAX-Program of Academic Exchange, a not for profit educational foundation.
PAX desires to promote international peace, friendship and understanding through the cross-cultural exchange and education of world citizens.
PAX students come from 35 different countries and will be arriving in August to attend local public schools. Students come for the entire academic year or five months. Single-parent families, traditional families and retirees are welcome to be hosts. Host families provide meals, a place to sleep and study, and a warm supportive environment.
