JASON Live’s last event of the school year features inspirational cardiologist Dr. Iclima Fergus!

While last week’s event focused on growing new hearts in a laboratory, this week’s STEM role model is all about keeping the hearts we were born with as healthy as possible. She’s been recognized as a “Luminary” by the American Heart Association for her work with heart disease in women, and does everything she can to bring the message of good health to communities close to where she lives and works in New York, as well as areas around the world in need of care, such as her native Montserrat.

More worksheets have been added to friendoflearning.com. They include worksheets on exponents, percentages, and geology.

There are also now at least two worksheets each of addition, subtraction and multiplication wherein the problems are arranged vertically rather than horizontally. The names of those worksheets end with “(v)”.
