Much of the time, learning comes easily to our young children. Sometimes, however, basic skills are difficult for a child to grasp. They can’t seem to learn the letters or words they need to know. They read the words but don’t understand what they read. They can’t seem to figure out how to get themselves through math problems. If you are struggling with teaching reading, writing, and/or math skills to your young child, I can be a resource and support. I specialize in working with children in pre-kindergarten through third grade. I approach learning as a developmental process and like to work closely with families in order to support children’s ongoing growth. I am bilingual in English and Spanish.
