Spanish and French Teacher

I left a successful career as a teacher in the public school system to take responsibility for educating my own children. I have Bachelor degrees in Spanish and French from LSU and a Master’s degree in Spanish from Middlebury College. I am currently in my ninth year as a substitute teacher for NEISD.

I would love to help your children learn Spanish or French. I teach the lessons primarily in Spanish or French, but I use English when necessary. I do my best to make the lessons fun and engaging with puppets, props, games, pictures, stories, poems, and songs. My goal is to teach the children Spanish or French that they will actually be able to use in everyday situations. In addition to assigning the children age-appropriate written homework, I also try to point the parents to websites and TV programs that they can use with their children between lessons.
