Back by popular demand, the World of 7 Billion student video contest can help you bring technology and creativity into your middle school high school classes. The contest challenges your students to create a short (60 seconds or less) video illustrating the connection between world population growth and one of three global challenges: climate change, ocean health, or rapid urbanization. Students can win up to $1,000 and their teachers will receive free curriculum resources. The contest deadline is February 23, 2017. The South Texas MAiZE, a labyrinth of twists, turns and dead ends, carved into stalks over your head, offers an experience that is perfect for those hungry for fun!! Our saying here at the MAiZE is we want to EDUCATE AND RECREATE the students! The South Texas MAiZE is a wonderful field trip for ALL ages. From babies in a stroller to a senior in high school, the MAiZE is THE field trip where everyone will have a blast!! A field trip to the MAiZE includes:

 our 7 acre maze (curriculum available online)
 a hayride where the day to day operations of our farm and ranch are described
 Farmer Ken’s Kiddie Korral
 A ride on our one of a kind Cow Train for all students and adults
 the hay bale jump and much more!!

Field Trip Package #1: $4.50 per person (ages 3-adult) – includes all items as listed above.

Field Trip Package #2: $6.00 per person (ages 3-adult) – includes all items listed above PLUS THE CORN POPPER, (jumping pillow). Each person can enjoy a 10 minute jump on our jumping pillow with this special offer!

Field Trip Package #3: $8.00 per person (ages 3-adult) – includes all items listed above PLUS THE MATTER-CORN SLIDE MOUNTAIN.
