Strings Group Classes. Being a homeschool mom myself, I know it’s often challenging to find resources for learning the fine arts in a group or individual setting. I teach violin, viola, and cello; both as a private instructor and as the strings teacher for Community Bible Church School of Fine Arts. In the fall, spring, and summer, I hold string classes from 6 - 8 weeks ending with a concert. These classes are for ALL ages. My next strings group class starts Saturday, Sept. 21, and ends on Saturday, Nov. 9th Three groups are available. The Beginners Class (for those who have never played a string instrument up to one year’s experience) rehearse each Saturday morning from 9:00 to 9:45. The Prelude Praise Strings (1 to 3 years of experience) practice from 9:45 to 10:45. The Philharmonic Praise Strings (3+ years of experience) rehearse from 10:45 to 11:45. A combined concert will be performed on Saturday, Nov. 9th The music performed is a combination of classical, just for fun melodies, and worship music. All classes are held in the CBC choir room. The cost of the class is $120 with a registration fee of $10. Registration can be paid to me or at online at http://www.communitybible.com/get-involved/worship/school-of-fine-arts/ The remaining balance will be due on the first day of class, Sept. 21st to me.
Private Lessons. Private string lessons are taught from my home studio.The cost is $25 per half hour, $37 for 45 minutes, or $48 for an hour lesson. Lessons include music theory, technique, classical, solo or group competition, and contemporary praise & worship music for beginners through advanced players for any age.
